Update your SoulDial, one side at a time.

This page walks you through the whole thing. First we update the Wi-Fi/BT. Then you flip the USB-C plug over and update the Soul Dial.

Before you start

  • Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  • Use a USB-A to USB-C cable.
  • Plug the USB-C end into SoulDial with the logo side down.
  • If nothing is detected later, the cable is often the problem. Some cables only charge.

License recovery

If your SoulDial is stuck in service mode because the device license is missing, this tool can recover it over USB using only the device ID.

Use the normal Soul Dial side for this, not the Wi-Fi/BT side. If the first try fails, flip the USB-C plug and try again.

Check the first side

Leave the USB-C logo/LED facing down. We are trying to detect the Wi-Fi/BT on this side.

Press the button above, then pick your SoulDial when the browser asks.

Flip the USB-C plug

Unplug only the USB-C end, turn it over, and plug it back in. This time we are looking for the Soul Dial.

Finish step 1 first. Then this step will unlock.

Your SoulDial should now be updated. You can unplug it and power it back up normally.
